TEHRAN–National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) and a consortium of international companies, known as Pergas, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Wednesday for carrying out preliminary studies over two Iranian oilfields, Shana reported.

Based on the agreement, the consortium should hand over the result of its studies to the NISOC within six months but they could submit the proposal for development of the fields sooner if it is ready.
